The space

Come relax and unwind in the peaceful comfort of this stunning A-frame mountain home with a 20-foot vaulted ceiling and full-front home window wall!

This is home located in the Big Bass Lake Community, an award-winning and Gold Star Certified Premier Community located in the Pocono Mountains.

Indoor Areas:

Features 4 bedrooms, a master loft suite with a California King bed, 2 full bathrooms, a large living room, and a game/movie room. All rooms have darkening shades!

Loft: The “parent’s suite” master loft is equipped with a California King luxury mattress and ductless A/C system.

Main floor: bedroom #2 houses two separate twin beds, and bedroom #3 has a queen-size bed with a twin mattress under-bed pull-out.

Downstairs: Bedroom #4 with bunk beds also has an under-bed twin pull-out mattress for extra sleep space for the kids! Next to the bunk room downstairs, there is a cozy and private downstairs bonus room furnished with a single twin bed and door leading directly into the downstairs full bath/shower room.

Cook at-home meals inside our brand-new kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, custom-built cabinets, and a kitchen island.

All three floors are equipped with newly updated mini-split air conditioning units that provide a much-needed reprieve from the heat in the summer (except for the loft, there are no individual A/C units in the bedrooms).

Each bedroom is also zoned separately with its own electric baseboard heating system.

A complete home water filtration system on-site (which is a must in the Pocono area) as well as a full-size front load washer and dryer available for use.

Outdoor Areas:

Gather the family for some meals by the BBQ Grill (propane provided) on our outdoor dining set with tons of shade. Bundle up, grab some marshmallows and graham crackers, and warm up by our outdoor propane fire pit with seating. Have a coffee and read on the deck to enjoy the surrounding greenery during your getaway. And of course, the BARREL SAUNA!

IMPORTANT:

Due to the Community rules and regulations -

Once booking with us, please provide your full name, your email, phone number, home address, and full names & ages of all guests in the reservation (up to 9 including infants) which is required from the community for each reservation. If this info is not submitted 2 business days before check-in we will charge $100 to cover fines from the community.

If there are any changes in the rental/tenant group(s) after Registration details have been submitted, a $30 change fee will apply for each rental change (must be done at least 2 days before your check-in date). Fines may be imposed if the change form is not received before the rental date.

Renters are required to produce their vehicle’s plate number and valid driver’s license upon entry into the community.

Parking:

There is parking available for 4 vehicles max

(3 during the winter months).

For use of the extensive amenities list, you must purchase amenity passes and they are priced as follows for ages seven (7) and above:

Daily pass: weekdays $8/per day - per person.

Daily pass: weekend or holiday $10/per day - per person.

Week pass (non-holiday): $30 per week/per person.

Holiday week: $50 per week/per person.

Alex and I are Pennsylvania natives, and with three young daughters of our own, we understand the value of being able to occasionally take a dreamy getaway!

The Pocono Getaway Chalet is that dream come to life! We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place to experience a unique family getaway! The chalet is full of that "Pocono Charm", and it a perfect spot for relaxation and fun in the serenity of the Pocono Mountains!

The home is just a quick stroll to the lake, and a short drive to many of the major attractions offered in the Pocono Mountains. The gated Big Bass Lake community provides wonderful amenities, and it is also perfect for morning or evening walks or bike rides!
